My screen is yellow after a failed Update
No error messages except the BSOD one at the end (nvlddmkm error). I have had to delete this file and go back to a crappy display again. .... update starts after download. I've been careful to install the 32bit Vista version. I've 32-bit Vista Home Premium. Any ideas what could be causing it or how I might fix it?

Are the symptoms repeatable on that clean install ? If the game works, and doesn't crash, then you'd suspect a problem with the Windows install, .... Anytime Picasa sees one of those, it has to fire up a Windows component called DirectShow, which interacts with all kinds of things including video codes and drivers. While I haven't see it cause a blue screen in Vista, it wouldn't suprise me.... FYI, after a fashion, I have Picasa working well on bothVistaand XP.

I tried, but I couldn't install any drivers until after the install. I changed the memory voltage from 'auto' to 1.9V, which I thought may have fixed it, I ran the memory test from the Vista DVD and there were no errors. Does that mean the memory should be OK or does it not stress the memory enough?
